Abel Gizaw is the founder and portfolio manager of Gizaw Capital Management. Prior to founding Gizaw Capital, Abel was an investment analyst at SFG Asset Advisors, a hedge fund within a single family office based in San Francisco. Prior to SFG, he was an investment banking associate at Aronson Capital Partners, a merger and acquisition (M&A) and financial advisory group focused in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services industries. Before that, he served as a Sr. Consultant in the corporate strategy team of Booz Allen Hamilton.
Abel has earned an MBA and undergraduate degrees from Radford University, where he majored in Finance and Economics. Abel is also a CFA charterholder
